Brilliance Piercing, established in 2017, strives to provide a vibrant and welcoming environment where clients can enjoy high-quality piercings using the finest body jewelry. Since our inception, we have maintained a strong commitment to prioritizing quality and safety in all aspects of our business.

All entry to the studio is by appointment only, and we love that this allows us to give each client our undivided attention and the best service possible. This approach enables us to offer comprehensive consultations tailored to the unique needs of every individual. Whether it's your first piercing or you're seeking to expand your existing collection, we are here to assist you in achieving your desired outcome.

We work with the body piercing industry's top jewelry designers, as well as a diverse group of skilled artisan jewelers who specialize in body jewelry. This allows us to have a large selection of jewelry in the studio to fit a variety of preferences. Whether you prefer a simple and sophisticated style, or seek something more bold and unique, we have something for you!

All our piercers are members of the Association of Professional Piercers, ensuring that they adhere to the highest standards of safety and expertise. We encourage our staff to further their education by participating in seminars and conferences organized by the APP. By staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the industry, our piercers consistently deliver exceptional service.

Location

Our private studio is located in the town of Vienna, Virginia only 10 minutes away from Tyson’s Mall and about 40 minutes from Washington DC. The address is 421 Church St NE, Suite C, Vienna, VA, 22180. Both Google Maps and Waze give excellent driving directions to the studio. Be sure not to miss the Northeast in the address as that will take you somewhere else entirely! 

We are located in the Vienna Square business park/shopping center and share a parking lot with our neighbors. We are located on the lower level right next to Red Fox Yarn. The other businesses in the center are largely doctors offices and med spas but the town of Vienna has a lot of food and shops worth checking out and if you need advice on what to do before or after your appointment - feel free to ask or check out this handy guide we put together.

The closest Metro Stop is the Vienna stop off of the Orange Line, or the Tyson's stop off the Silver Line. The Maple and Beulah Rd bus stop is just down the street. Unfortunately, we all commute by car so we don’t have any helpful insider knowledge on the local public transit.

Safe Practices

Your heath and safety are extremely important to us.  We utilize the most up to date and widely accepted sterilization process to ensure client safety.  

Everything used for any piercing procedure is sterilized in our Statim 2000 autoclave, the same type that is commonly used in dental offices.  We spore test our autoclave using a third party testing service every week, widely used by the piercing and medical community.  Each autoclave cycle also contains an integrator strip, another device that confirms the autoclave cycle was successful in sterilizing your items.  

We are a completely disposable studio, meaning that any and all equipment is used once, only for you and then disposed of immediately afterwards.  Many studios reprocess tools and instruments between clients, but for your safety we use a completely disposable set-up.

The Association of Professional Piercers (APP) is an esteemed international non-profit organization focused on promoting health and safety in body piercing. With a commitment to education, the APP utilizes online outreach, conferences, and advanced learning seminars to provide valuable knowledge to professional body piercers and the general public, ensuring safe practices in the industry.

Body piercers and other studio professionals can apply to become members of the APP. Membership requires studios meet certain standards for health and safety, and piercers must have an understanding of their safety standards as well. To learn more about the APP you can visit their website, where they have numerous resources to educate the general public.

As proud members of the APP, we are held to the highest standards of studio health and safety. We encourage our team to take advantage the APP's continuing education opportunities through online learning, and their in-person classes and advance training seminars. By participating in these educational initiatives, we remain up to date with the latest industry practices, ensuring the well-being of our clients.
