Jen

Jen (she/her) is one of our piercers at Brilliance! As a teenager, Jen's first piercing experience was with an APP member, and that set the bar for what type of piercer she would aspire to be one day. She began her career in the piercing world over a decade ago and has kept passionate about the industry and continuing her education the entire time. She attends the annual Association of Professional Piercers conference and Advanced Training Seminars, and maintains current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and disease prevention.

Just as she continues her piercing education, Jen makes sure to educate clients by explaining not only the "what" of piercing but the "why" as well. Jen uses her calm demeanor and extensive knowledge to put clients at ease. Jen’s personal favorites for jewelry is anything with emeralds or tourmaline, and her all time favorite piercing to perform is conch piercings!

When she’s not piercing, you can catch Jen doing something outdoors, nurturing all of Brilliance’s Plant babies, weight lifting, and playing with her son, Percy….. who is a Boston Terrier! She keeps the shop running and all of us somewhat sane.
